Getting started
Starting a new integration? This is a legacy API. It stays available for existing integrations, but new integrations should use the SMS V3 APIs.

The legacy SMS APIs are the original Sms api APIs. Systems that already use them keep working without any change.

The SMS calls are made on this address:

Sending the parameters

Each call says how its parameters are sent: as form-data in the body, in the URL, as a JSON body or as headers. Every call needs your API key, and most of them your account password too.

  • Register on https://telcomw.com to get your API key.
  • Every response is JSON.
  • Keep your API key and password secure, and never expose them publicly.

Calls

CallWhat it does
POST /send Send an SMS to one phone number, or to many numbers separated by a comma.
POST /send Send a different message to each phone number in one request.
GET /text Send a text message to a phone number with a GET request. It needs your API key and password, and it replies with the status of the message.
POST /extended/send Send a message to a phone number, or a different message to many numbers, with a JSON body. The credentials go in the headers.
GET /delivery/batch Get the delivery report of every message in a batch (one bulk send).
GET /delivery/reference Get the delivery report of one message with its reference.
POST /balance Check your account balance with your API key and password.
